Image Courtesy Def JamJhene Aiko has partnered with accessories maker Luv AJ to launch her own jewelry line. She debuted three items which are available her website: A Souled Out ID bracelet, the Dharma wheel charm bracelet, and the Dharma wheel cuff ring.
Luv AJ designer Amanda Thomas worked with Aiko and tells MTV News, “We wanted to make pieces that feel like you can actually wear them all the time. They don’t feel like they scream ‘fan,’ so they work seamlessly into whatever you style is.” She adds, “That kind of subtlety is very much in line with Jhene’s style both aesthetically and musically.” Thomas says Jhene was hands on during the design process.
Aiko also recently collaborated with Lovers + Friends on a clothing line with dresses she’s designed being sold on RevolveClothing.com. Following the recent release of her first solo CD Souled Out, she’s also created headband and other hair accessories. She posted photos on Instagram modeling her dresses and headband.
