She's No L.I.A.R. — Keri Hilson's on the Comeback Trail

Giuliano BekorWell hello to you too, Keri Hilson! The R&B singer is not playing games when it comes to plans for her third album, L.I.A.R. (Love is a Religion).

Hilson caught up with HipHollywood recently and spilled details about her long-anticipated return to the spotlight. “It’s my comeback. I’ve been gone for five years,” she says.  “I didn’t intend for it to be that long, but I’m really proud of the work I’ve done.”

Hilson also describes the emotion that she hopes her new music will elicit in fans anxiously awaiting her return.

“Just picture if someone’s playing dominoes or spades and they just come out of nowhere.. you don’t know, they have the winning hand, and then they just kind of BAM!, they kind of do that? That’s what I intend to do,” she says. “And that’s what I feel my music is worthy of doing.”

Hilson’s last album, No Boys Allowed, was released in 2011 and topped the Billboard 200 charts at number 11.
