Atlantic RecordsJust a week after releasing her single, “CRZY,” Kehlani has graced fans with another new song, called “Distraction.”
With a throwback ’90s R&B sound, the track from the singer describes her need for a casual relationship with a man who is “down to be a distraction.” “I need you to give me your time. I need you to not wanna be mine,” she sings.
Kehlani continues to keep her name in the limelight before the highly anticipated release of her debut album, set for release this fall. She recently wrapped filming scenes for rapper Belly‘s “You” music video, reports Rap-Up, and is scheduled to perform with rapper G-Eazy at the Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado this September.
