Roy CoxRecord producer and guitarist Nile Rodgers‘ FOLD concert event — originally set for Riverhead, New York next month — is moving to New York City’s Forest Hills Stadium.
Titled the “Freak Out Let’s Dance FOLD Experience NY,” the concert will feature Earth, Wind & Fire,The Village People, Alex Newell, DJ Cassidy and Bette Midler, who will perform with Nile and his iconic band CHIC. CHIC and Rodgers will also perform on their own.
The multi-Grammy award-winning artist found success in his career with CHIC. Rodgers also has produced hit singles for many of pop music’s most prominent recording artists, such as David Bowie, Madonna and Diana Ross.
Rodgers’ Freak Out Let’s Dance FOLD Experience NY will take place on Saturday, October 8. You can purchase tickets for the show on Friday, July 29 at 10 a.m. ET.
