Beyonce and Chance the Rapper Make This Year's Adweek's “Creative 100” List

HBO/Parkwood EntertainmentBeyoncé and Chance the Rapper are among the elite few to make Adweek‘s Creative 100 list this year. Both musicians are featured on a list of twenty selected celebrities and well-known public figures “who’ve consistently challenged themselves, their industries and their audiences” honored by the publication on Sunday.  The celebrity sub-list is part of Adweek’s ranking of “the 100 most creative professionals in America.”

Bey was singled out for her many extraordinary contributions in music, fashion and live performance in the first half of 2016. The singer-songwriter released her critically acclaimed visual album, Lemonade, performed her song “Formation” during February’s Super Bowl 50 halftime show and launched her athletic line, Ivy Park, which crashed websites upon its arrival.  

Chance released his third album, Coloring Book, which peaked at number eight on the Billboard Hot 200 and performed a stirring tribute to the late  Muhammad Ali at this year’s ESPY Awards. Today, he announced his first-ever live music event production, the Magnificent Coloring Day Festival, which will take place in Chicago and is schedules to feature fellow artists such as John Legend2 Chainz,Skrillex and Alicia Keys.
