Dennis LeupoldSevyn Streeter‘s Girl Disrupted tour, in support of her forthcoming debut album, Girl Disrupted, is currently underway.
With the vocalist headed to Philadelphia and Washington, D.C. this inauguration weekend, Sevyn tells ABC Radio that fans are in for quite a show — both during and after.
“It’s been greater than I even imagined. Me and my fans, we’re singing together. There’s a lot of singing, a lot of dancing. Just us having a good time talking to each other. They yell out the craziest things to me,” she says.
“I’m excited ’cause we have merchandise this time around. We also have meet-and-greet packages for the top of the show — you get to come to my soundcheck, we talk a little bit, we take pictures, you get bookbags and T-shirts and autographed pictures.”
“This whole entire tour, basically, is for my fans. People ask, ‘Why are you going on tour before your album comes out?’ Well, because they deserve it. Point blank period,” Sevyn adds.
“I’ve always, just, liked the fact of doing a little bit extra for them. This is like our pre-album tour.
