Eliot Lee Hazel/RCA RecordsChris Brown‘s alleged affiliation with the notorious Bloods gang in Los Angeles continues to make headlines. In the latest tabloid report, TMZ says that his mother and girlfriend are “worried” that the singer could be in danger.
However, Chris has denied being gang affiliated. “When you’re in L.A. and you’re around people, you meet everybody — you meet Crips, you meet Bloods, especially in this industry that I’m in,” he told MTV News. “I’m not in the country world, I’m not in the all-the-way pop world. [When] you’re in hip-hop, all of that meshes.”
The news comes on the heels of sources telling TMZ that Brown’s family has asked his therapist to advise the singer to refrain from socializing in gang-affiliated circles.
Breezy sums up his interactions with gang-members as being “cordial.”
