ABC/Richard HarbaughRihanna has worn the creations of the world’s top designers, and now she’s going to present one of them with a special award.
E! Online reports that the singer will honor Tom Ford at the The Foundation for AIDS Research’s Inspiration Gala, scheduled to take place on October 29 in L.A. She’ll present Ford with amfAR’s Award of Inspiration in recognition of the work he’s done to combat the AIDS crisis.
E! quotes Rihanna as saying, “Tom has inspired so many aspects of my art over the years, not to mention his clothes give me a real bad attitude. His commitment to the cause and commitment to amfAR is truly admirable.”
Previous award winners include Jennifer Lopez, Ricky Martin, Fergie, and James Franco.
E! reports that Gwyneth Paltrow will host the gala, and Sharon Stone is expected to participate in the night’s live charity auction.
