Kelsey McNeal/FOXKelly Rowland is showing it all off. To celebrate her impending arrival, the pregnant singer posed nude in the new issue of Elle magazine, in a picture shot by actor Lance Gross.
In the accompanying story, the singer reveals what she’s looking forward to the most when she delivers her first child with husband/manager Tim Witherspoon.
“I can’t wait until he gets here. I just have a couple more weeks,” she tells the mag. “I’m excited to bring a child into the world, and sharing that experience with my husband is probably the most beautiful part.“
Rowland adds that among her food cravings she loves “cherry pie and chocolate ice cream with peanut butter mixed in it.” She adds, “I had a week straight where I was obsessed with nachos.“
So what inspired the nude shoot? The 33-year-old revealed she’s been amazed watching her “body carry a human.” She adds, “I took a birthing class and I was amazed by all the things this woman was saying to me about birthing and what the body does naturally. Why wouldn’t you want to celebrate that? The body should be celebrated.”
