Image Courtesy Interscope RecordsThis week saw the release of Keyshia Cole‘s Point of No Return, which is projected to have a modest sales start, based on first-day forecasts.
According to Hits Daily Double, industry insiders estimate that the singer’s sixth album will sell approximately 22,000 to 25,000 copies in its first week, which will compete with Tinashe‘s debut album, Aquarius, for the #1 spot on the Billboard R&B Album chart.
KC’s projected sales start is significantly less than that of 2012’s Woman to Woman, which debuted at number 10 and sold 96,000 copies its first week.
Point of No Return includes contributions from Wale, Future, 2 Chainz, Juicy J, Gavyn Rhone and August Alsina, as well as production from DJ Mustard, Mike WiLL Made-It, Stargate, Mario Winans and RedOne.
The official sales tally will be released next Wednesday.
