James Dimmock/Atlantic RecordsLast month, Chris Brown and Trey Songz announced plans for a co-headlining outing, which will mark their first time touring together. Although specifics have yet to be announced, in a recent interview Trey reveals what the pair are planning for the joint tour.
“Fans can expect to see us performing a catalog of records, can expect to see the brotherhood that he and I have, the chemistry that he and I have as friends,” says Trey during an interview for The Recording Academy’s Grammys YouTube channel. “We’ve actually been working on new music as well, just having fun in the studio.”
He continues, “It’s something that we’re having fun with the idea of, so fans can expect to be very captivated.”
The duo’s tour will see Trey performing material from his latest Trigga LP, while Brown will showcase cuts from his X album.
