Keyshia Cole Avoids Prosecution in Altercation with Woman in Birdman’s Condo

Derek Blanks/Interscope/UniversalKeyshia Cole was arrested last month after allegedly assaulting a woman, but she reportedly won’t face any legal charges.

Sources from the L.A. City Attorney’s office tell TMZ that Cole will avoid going to trial but she will have an informal office hearing where someone will listen to the stories of both Cole and her accuser, Sabrina Mercadel, and then give the singer a strict warning. It’s also possible that Cole might be required to take anger management courses.

As previously reported, Cole was accused of attacking Mercadel, who attended an after party at the home of Cole’s rumored boyfriend, Cash Money CEO Birdman. Ultimately, Mercadel was granted a restraining order against the singer, who must stay 100 yards away from her.
