Image Courtesy BET/CentricTamar Braxton will not only perform at the 2014 Soul Train Awards, she’ll also handle hosting duties for the ceremony’s red carpet coverage.
Alongside her co-host Tank, who will serve as the style correspondent, Tamar will conduct interviews with nominees, performers and attendees and test viewers’ knowledge of “dance” with nostalgic Soul Train trivia.
The Soul Train Awards 2014 Red Carpet Show will be recorded at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas on November 7. The show will air November 30 on Centric and BET at 7 p.m. ET, immediately followed by the ceremony, which Wendy Williams will host.
As previously reported, Lil Kim, Missy Elliot and Da Brat will reunite for a “Ladies Night” showcase during the event, which will also see performances from Chris Brown, who leads all nominees, as well as Jodeci, Jeremih, Lisa Stansfield, Kem, Liv Warfield Aloe Blacc, Bobby Brown, Sevyn Streeter, and Nico & Vinz.
