A rep for Stevie tells Us Weekly that the legendary singer and his girlfriend, Tomeeka Robyn Bracy, have welcomed their second child together, a baby girl named Nia.
The rep explains the child’s name in Swahili means “purpose,” which is “one of the seven principles of Kwanzaa.”
Stevie, 64, told ABC’s The View last month that he would name his new daughter Nia.
Prior to his relationship with Bracy, Stevie was married to fashion designer Kai Millard Morris for 11 years; they have two kids. He also has children with his exes Yolanda Simmons and Melody McCulley, but none with his previous wife, the late Motown singer and songwriter Syreeta Wright.
