Eric McCandless/CBSRihanna season has officially begun. Following brief teasers for “Higher” and “Dancing in the Dark,” from The Home soundtrack, the singer has premiered a new single, titled “American Oxygen,” which is featured in a new 30-second commercial for NCAA March Madness.
In the clip, Rihanna poses in front of an American flag while singing along to the patriotic anthem. “Breathe out, breathe in, American oxygen/This is the new America,” she sings while rocking a leather jacket.
“American Oxygen” will appear on Rihanna’s upcoming eighth album, arriving later this year.
