Blues Singer Mel Waiters Dies At Age 58

Blues Singer Mel Waiters had been sick for some time now. According to the his official website all of Mel’s tours date were canceled due to him recovering from a procedure.

Mel Waiters was born and raised in San Antonio, TX. In 1974 the singer launched his singing career by  performing at local teen clubs and then became a local radio DJ. Soon after Mel was  awarded a government contract to entertain at military bases across the southwest.

No details have surfaced on Mel Waiters death but he passed at 6:30 this morning.
