Epic RecordsCiara and NFL star Russell Wilson visited the Seattle Children’s Hospital together on Tuesday.
The singer shared Instagram photos of their time in the pediatric oncology ward where they spent time with young cancer patients, whom Russell has visited frequently in the past.
“I believe God has put me on this earth to serve others,” Russell said in an earlier statement. “That’s why there’s nothing more fulfilling than walking into a child’s hospital room and finding out how they’re doing – listening to their stories. All these kids are so brave and to be there for them and give them a boost is really important to me. What they don’t know is how much they affect me: I get an even bigger boost from them.”
The hospital later thanked the couple via Twitter for their unexpected visit. “Thank you @DangeRussWilson for inviting @ciara to join our #strongagainstcancerteam. What a great visit. “
