The singer revealed the news via Instagram, posting a photo of herself in a recording studio with the rap mogul.
“This experience has been eye opening. Wish I could bottle the energy he brings in a room & use it on days when I forget how much of a blessing it is to be living my dreams,” Sevyn wrote in the caption. “I’ve learned things about my writing that I wasn’t even aware of!”
The singer credits Diddy for stretching her creativity. Addressing him on Instagram she wrote, “Even after everything you’ve accomplished, you still sit in the trenches of a session with us until we figure the record out together…so humbled by that!”
You can expect Sevyn’s debut album, On the Verge, to arrive later this year.
