Alicia Keys and The Weeknd have been added to the star-studded lineup for Sunday’s BET Awards.
Entertainment Tonight reports the singers will take stage for their own performances during the 15th annual ceremony, airing live Sunday, June 28 from Los Angeles’ Microsoft Theater. It’s likely that Alicia will perform new material from her follow-up to 2012’s Girl on Fire while The Weeknd will deliver a rendition of “Earned It” from the Fifty Shades of Grey soundtrack.
This year’s show also will feature performances from Chris Brown, Kendrick Lamar, Nicki Minaj, Ne-Yo, Ciara, Tinashe, Jason Derulo, K. Michelle, Janelle Monae, Robin Thicke, Tyga, Jidenna and Meek Mill, as well as an all-star tribute performance for Janet Jackson, who’s being honored with the first-ever Ultimate Icon: Music Dance Visual Award.
Previously confirmed presenters include Kelly Rowland, Michael Ealy, Sanaa Lathan, Laverne Cox, Zendaya, DeSean Jackson and Michael B. Jordan.
Hosted by black-ish stars Tracee Ellis Ross and Anthony Anderson, the BET Awards 2015 will air at 8 p.m. ET.
