Fatherhood has seemingly changed Chris Brown for the better. After he included his one-year-old daughter Royalty in his acceptance speech at the BET Awards, Entertainment Tonight caught up with Brown to find out how he likes being a first-time dad.
Breezy revealed that fatherhood has been a “humbling” experience. “It’s a new experience but its also a humbling one. Being a father is great. I’ve been able to set aside my own wants and necessities for my daughter,” he said. “Everything is about her.”
The singer also spoke about how Royalty inspires him when it comes to his music. “Whether it’s performing or writing songs, I always have her in mind just to keep me focused,” he shared.
Brown’s upcoming, seventh album is due out in the fall.
