Kelly Rowland seemingly has landed another TV role. Aside from her upcoming BET talent series, Chasing Destiny, the singer is reportedly set to guest star on FOX’s hit music drama Empire later this fall.
Sources tell E! News Rowland will play the mother of Terrence Howard‘s character, Lucious Lyon, who will be seen in a flashback.
Last month, Rowland sparked speculation about her involvement with the show after she posed in a picture with Empire‘s writers. “Hey, @KELLYROWLAND! Thank you for spending some time with the #Empire writers!” the caption read on Twitter.
While Kelly’s role has yet to be confirmed, you can expect the second season of Empire to debut on September 23, featuring guest stars Chris Rock, Alicia Keys, Lenny Kravitz and more.
