Jason Davis/Getty ImagesIsrael Houghton has found his “once-in-a-lifetime woman” in The Real‘s Adrienne Bailon — and was excited to go into detail about his Parisian marriage proposal to his bride-to-be on the daytime talk show Monday.
Houghton said that he and Adrienne were on a private boat ride in Paris. “I asked the captain — because the light’s sparkled on the Eiffel Tower every hour for five minutes — I said toward the end of that, make sure we’re right by the tower,” recalled Houghton.
“She was looking out the window. I said ‘Turn around,'” he added before Adrienne jumped in enthusiastically to finish his sentence and give her side of the romantic story.
Houghton and Bailon were criticized by some for getting engaged after only six-months of dating, as well as dating soon after Houghton’s divorce from his ex-wife of twenty years, Meleasa Houghton.
