The Meadows Festival may have lost The Weeknd as a headliner — but the concert gained J. Cole as a headlining act.

The Weeknd was set to headline the Queens, New York, event on the two-day event’s first night, Saturday October 1, but he has now been booked as the musical guest on the season’s premiere of Saturday Night Live that night.  So organizers announced on Thursday that J. Cole would be taking The Weeknd’s headlining slot.

But late Thursday The Weeknd announced that’s he’d be pulling double duty on Saturday, appearing earlier than originally scheduled at The Meadows so he can get across down later for his SNL performance.

“MEADOWS FEST NEW TIME 6:15 ! SEE YOU THERE,” he tweeted.

Other acts set to appear at the music and arts festival include Kanye West, Chance the Rapper and Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley. General admission and VIP tickets are available to purchase now.
