In a new interview, Bobbi Kristina’s father, Bobby Brown, says he won’t find peace until Gordon is criminally charged.
People has a clip of an interview with Brown set to air Wednesday on pastor T.D. Jakes talk show, in which the singer says, “I know some things that happened to my daughter, but it’s up to the D.A. now to do his job.”
Bobbi Kristina, the sole child of Brown and Whitney Houston, died last year after being found unresponsive in a bathtub in her Alpharetta, Georgia home. The family filed a wrongful death civil suit against Gordon, Bobbi Kristina’s boyfriend.
“My daughter was afraid of tubs because of what happened to her mom. So I know she wouldn’t have gotten in the tub,” Brown says. “Just knowing that he’s legally responsible for my daughter’s death has given me a bit of calmness to waiting for that D.A.”
In the interview Bobby claims, “There’s a lot of strange things that will come out in the criminal charges against Nick,” although there’s no certainty that criminal charges will ever be filed.
Gordon was found liable in the wrongful death suit because he failed to appear in court twice to answer the allegations. He has denied any involvement in Bobbi Kristina’s death.
