The trio, comprised of former New Edition members Ricky Bell, Michael Bivins and Ronnie DeVoe, also performed their legendary 1990 hit track, “Poison.”
Of course, all three group members sat down with Wendy to chat about their early days in New Edition, their families and the forthcoming BET television movie, The New Edition Story.
“We don’t wanna give too much of the movie away, but we come from an era where we kinda kept our dirty laundry, like under the rug or hidden in the closet,” said Ronnie.
“Honestly, the layers is all the way pulled back. There’ll be people who been 33-year fans who are gonna call each other and tweet each other and say ‘I ain’t even know,” added Michael about the film’s honest depiction of New Edition’s backstory.
Bell Biv Devoe’s new album, Three Stripes, arrives on January 27. Their single, “Run,” is now available to stream and download.
