Coulter, who went on Twitter to attempt to downplay Donald Trump‘s recent controversial comments about woman, tweeted that Beyonce also makes similar inappropriate references in her music.
“Beyonce, cited by Michelle Obama as role model for her daughters, sings about “p**** curvalicious, served delicious.” Oh my. I just fainted,” she wrote.
While Coulter seemed confident in her comparison, she failed to realize that those lyrics were actually a paraphrase of Nicki Minaj’s lyrics on Bey’s “Flawless (Remix)” in 2014. Of course, true Bey fans caught the error and were quick to let Coulter know.
One user wrote, “This is really the best #yall can do. Trump admits to sexually assaulting women and you ignore that and google Beyonce lyrics,” while another tweeted, “That’s Nicki Minaj’s verse and she’s not running for president, but thanks for playing.”
Beyonce has not commented on Coulter’s remarks.
