ABC/Fred WatkinsMary J. Blige is the latest artist to sign up for the 17th annual Soul Beach Music Festival being held Memorial Day weekend in in Aruba.
The Queen of Hip-Hop Soul will join Usher as the headliner of the six-day event taking place May 24-29, 2017. Usher will perform Saturday May 27 along with The Roots. Blige will hit the stage on Sunday May 28.
“Offering a collaboration of authentic culture and celebrated music, Aruba is thrilled to welcome such an impressive group of artists to our one happy island, including R&B sensation, Mary J. Blige,” says Ronella Tjin Asjoe-Croes, CEO of Aruba Tourism Authority.
Mark Adkins, brother of comedian Sinbad, is the executive producer of the festival. More artists will be announced in the coming weeks.
