Jeff Kravitz/Getty Images via ABCIt’s time for another Azealia Banks online feud.
This time, the rapper is giving none other than Rihanna a piece of her mind. Both artists went head-to-head on Twitter in a heated exchange that began over the weekend following President Donald Trump’s executive order on immigration.
In response to a message written by RiRi expressing her disgust about the order, Azealia questioned the Bajan singer’s ability to vote in the United States.
“No. this is all stupid and wrong. Is she even American??? Can she even vote? We started a war we HAVE to finish or else it will finish us. Trump is simply finishing the job, not because he wants to but because HAS to,” Banks said in a now-deleted Instagram message captured by Rhymes with Snitch.
Rihanna responded by poking fun at Azealia on Instagram with several hashtags referencing Azealia’s alleged involvement with brujería [Bru-heh-REE-ah], the Spanish word for witchcraft.
“The face you make when you a immigrant #stayawayfromthechickens #iheartnuggets #saveourhens,” wrote Rihanna. Banks had mentioned chickens during a posting about brujería.
Both celebrities continued to post diss after diss on social media, leaving the two to eventually leak the other’s cell phone number.
Rih was recently spotted protesting during New York City’s Women’s March in front of Trump Tower, the building President Trump owns on Fifth Avenue. Meanwhile, Azealia has continued to voice her support for Trump, having stated that she would have loved to perform at his inauguration ceremony.
