Dan MartensenDrake, Rihanna and Beyoncé are among the top nominees for this year’s Billboard Music Awards.
Drake leads with nine nominations in categories including Top Song Sales Artist, Top Rap Artist Nominees and Top Rap Tour Nominees. RiRi scored seven nods, including Top R&B Artist and Top R&B Tour. Bey has six nominations.
All three will also compete against each other in several categories, such as Bey and Rih for Top Female Artist, Drake and Rih for Top Radio Songs Artist, and Bey, Drake and Rih for Top Billboard 200 Album.
Prince, The Weeknd, J Cole, Future, Nicki Minaj, Desiigner, and Rae Sremmurd also scored nominations.
Fall Out Boy’s Pete Wentz and singer-songwriter Julia Michaels announced five categories this morning on ABC’s Good Morning America — Top Female Artist, Top Male Artist, Top Hot 100 Song, Top Billboard 200 Album, and Top Artist. The rest were revealed afterward on social media.
The 2017 Billboard Music Awards will air live from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas Sunday, May 21 on ABC.
