ABC/ Ida Mae AstuteMary J. Blige will reportedly have to cough up some major dough to her estranged husband, Martin “Kendu” Issacs.
However, it doesn’t look like it will be the monthly amount that he requested.
According to TMZ, Blige will have to pay Isaacs $30,000 per month in temporary spousal support, which is nearly a quarter less than his initial request of just over $129,000 per month.
Although the court reportedly agreed that Isaacs, Mary’s former manager, was entitled to some money to support the lifestyle he became accustomed to with his ex, it denied him the six-figure monthly payout. Instead, Mary will have to pay him “retroactive spousal support dating back to September,” as well as his attorneys’ fees, which adds up to about $235K.
In addition, TMZ reports that the court says that that the two did not live within their means during their marriage and will have to pay back millions to the IRS.
