According to TMZ, the Xscape story featuring Kandi Burruss, Tameka “Tiny” Harris, Latocha and Tamika Scott will air on Bravo.
The docu-series, to be executive produced by Love and Hip Hop franchise creator Mona Scott-Young, is said to be filming in the group’s hometown of Atlanta, Georgia.
The series will reportedly premiere sometime in November, after the return of Kandi’s Real Housewives Atlanta.
Last month, group addressed the unauthorized TV One biopic, Who Can I Run To: The Xscape Story, calling the the upcoming biopic “disrespectful.”
“We feel the recent announcement of an unauthorized biopic on our lives is disrespectful and disappointing,” the group said in a statement.
“We are not, in any way, participating in that project and it will never ‘represent’ our true story.”
