ABC/Randy HolmesAfter seeking a permanent restraining order against singer-actor Chris Brown this March, ex-girlfriend Karrueche Tran was finally granted one after showing up in court today, according to TMZ, ordering the recording artist to keep away from Tran for five years.
As previously reported, the Claws actress was granted a temporary restraining order earlier this year, after having tried to gain one three times prior, in which Chris was told to stay at least 100 yards away from Karrueche, her mother and brother.
Tran also claimed that the “Privacy” star once threatened to shoot her and harm her friends, and also punched her in the stomach and pushed her down the stairs a few years ago.
In the past, Chris indicated in several Instagram videos that Karrueche was lying. His attorney, David Gammill, cross-examined Tran in court this Thursday.
TMZ adds that Chris was not present during the court hearing and was denied a request to “join the hearing via phone.”
