ABC/Tyler GoldenChrissy Teigen and John Legend will celebrate their fourth wedding anniversary on September 14, but their relationship hasn’t always been bliss.
They actually broke up once — but it was only for 30 minutes.
“It wasn’t a typical breakup,” Teigen tweeted. “He was on tour and his voice hurt and he was being a whiny face about everything and so yeah, I was like ‘no.’ ”
She added, “11 years later, baby.”
Their daughter, Luna Simone, turned one year old in April.
The supermodel was prompted to comment after her husband mentioned the breakup in an interview with The Guardian.
“I was really stressed and busy,” he recalled. “I was just like, ‘I’d just be happier single right now,’ and she was like, ‘No.’ ”
The ten-time Grammy winner says humor is one of the keys to their staying together.
“She pushes me to be funnier,” Legend says, “not because she’s trying to, I think it’s just being around her. And to be bolder.”
