Jay-Z, along with Roc Nation, New Era, LIDS, and the San Francisco Giants, are being sued by Iconix Brand Group for using the Roc Nation logo on MLB merchandise. Iconix claims that it purchased the logo from Jay awhile back for $204 million. However Jay-Z now says he should not be involved in the lawsuit, and that there is no proof that he had anything to do with the merchandising deal.
