Taj StansberryTank is the latest celebrity to voice his support for Meek Mill, who was recently sentenced to two to four years in state prison for violating his probation.
An Instagram post from America’s Next Top Model cycle three winner Eva Marcille about Meek and voting encouraged Tank to chime in on the sentencing.
On Tuesday, Eva shared a meme of a squinting Kevin Hart, with the words, “When they posting free Meek Mill but won’t go out and vote for the new district attorney.”
In the caption, Eva wrote, “What Meek is facing is absolutely horrible and completely unfair… we as a people have power.”
“We must vote in order to put and keep judges and DA’s in office that care about US. Today is Election Day for local elections and judges are on the ballot…do your part!!”
In turn, Tank responded with his opinion on Eva’s words, writing, “Hmm..i don’t think this is the route sis. Meek has garnered a love and admiration from his people which is why they cry out for him. Politicians have to do the same.”
He continued, “The education of voting has not been taught as well as the education of rap and lifestyle.. Just a thought.. .”

Many celebrities, like JAY-Z, Kevin Hart, T.I. and Rick Ross have shared their own messages of support on social media for Meek Mill.
As previously reported, Meek’s attorney plans to appeal the sentence.
