ABC/Fred LeeJennifer Hudson and finace David Otunga have split.
“They have been in the process of ending their relationship for a number of months,” a rep for Hudson said in a statement to ABC News. The rep added, “Today, Jennifer requested and received a protective order against her ex-fiancé. Jennifer’s actions are solely taken in the best interest of their son.”
The statement concluded with a wish that Jennifer’s privacy be respected at this time.
The couple share a son, eight-year-old David Daniel Otunga Jr. They had been engaged since late 2008.
