Getty Images via ABCRihanna is mourning the death of her cousin after he was reportedly shot and killed in Barbados a day after Christmas.
The singer posted a series of photos of the two on Instagram and wrote, “RIP cousin… can’t believe it was just last night that I held you in my arms! never thought that would be the last time I felt the warmth in your body!!! Love you always man!”
She added the hashtag, “#endgunviolence.”
While Rihanna didn’t identify her cousin by name, Sky News reports that it was 21-year-old Tavon Kaiseen Alleyn. He was allegedly shot multiple times by an unknown man while walking near his home in Lakes Close, Eden Lodge, Saint Michael around 7 p.m. on Tuesday.
The suspect is still at large.
