The “Chanel” artist dropped his version of “Moon River,” first composed by legendary composer and musician Henry Mancini, Wednesday via YouTube.
The original version of “Moon River” was sung by actress Audrey Hepburn in the classic 1961 film Breakfast at Tiffany’s.
The song won an Academy Award for Best Original Song and two Grammys: Record of the Year and Song of the Year.
Frank’s most recent album, Blonde, was released in August of 2016.
As previously noted, in January he posted a cryptic picture on his Tumblr page that left fans wondering if the performer was whipping up some new tunes in the studio for this year.
The photo featured a man wearing a jacket, hoodie and hat — and on the hat is printed the phrase, “If you liked 2017, you’ll love…2018.”
