Twitter denies R. Kelly boarding pass to Wakanda

Randee St. Nicholas/RCA RecordsBlack Panther mania has led to people wanting to fly to the film’s fictional African nation of Wakanda, but when R. Kelly wanted to join the bandwagon, Twitter said no.

After Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson Airport posted an imaginary flight to Wakanda on Twitter, the response was overwhelming, with thousands of people commenting they were ready to buy tickets. When the “Bump N Grind” singer chimed in he was ready too, there was an avalanche of tweets saying he was not invited!

Kelly tweeted, “Hell, I’m on my way too! Amazing film! #WakandaForever#BlackPanther”

He was immediately blasted with a flurry of negative tweets.

Responses included, “NO THANK YOU. WE JUST CLOSED THE BORDERS. – Wakanda Immigration.” Another person wrote, “Fatha Gawd, we come before you today to block the entry of enemies of progress and pedophiles into the sacred land of Wakanda! You said weapons would form but let them not prosper in this land. We rebuke and reject him, in YOUR glorious name.”

R. Kelly is facing more serious problems as he was recently evicted from his two homes in Georgia due to failure to pay nearly $30,000 in rent
