Chris Brown Was Slammed On ‘International Women’s Day’ By Singer Vanessa Carlton

On Wednesday, singer Chris Brown shared his love of the song “A Thousand Miles” by singer Vanessa Carlton, which she released back in 2001. Brown posted her video of the song, saying it would be “LIT FOREVER” on his Instagram. However, Brown’s tribute to Carlton’s song backfired when the pop singer brought up his past on International Women’s Day, denouncing Brown and referencing his 2009 assault on Rihanna. “Being that today is International Women’s Day I feel compelled to draw a line,” she wrote. “I support survivors not perpetrators of domestic violence. I do not want to be associated with an artist that has assaulted women on a day like today.”
