Singer/songwriter Kenneth ‘Babyface’ Edmonds is launching a music publishing company to seek out fresh talent. The superstar has teamed up with music executive Jason Murray to create Good Vibes Music Group and they are setting up Discovery Song Camps in Los Angeles, Atlanta, Nashville and London later this year to mentor and discover songwriters. Edmonds told Billboard: “a song comes from everywhere. It’s just a little spark of an idea. It’s being able to recognize that and go for those moment when you have that. Ultimately, that’s what we’re looking do do.” The camps will be funded by Edmonds and Murray, and Babyface hopes he can pass on his knowledge and show songwriters and producers what it takes to achieve their big break.
