Cardi B’s ‘Invasion of Privacy’ Album Breaks Apple Streaming Record

Cardi B has broken Apple Music’s most–streamed record for a female artist in its first week with her debut album Invasion of Privacy.  Before the rapper earned this title, Taylor Swift held the honor for her latest album Reputation. By mid-week, Cardi B had doubled the streams of Swift’s Reputation; currently Invasion of Privacy is at the number five spot on Apple Music’s worldwide chart for most-streamed albums ever. It is also expected that Invasion of Privacy will top next week’s albums chart, which would place Cardi B as the fifth female artist to hit number one on the Billboard 200.
