Drake Speaks Out On The Blackface Photo Pusha T Used For ‘The Story of Adidon’ Artwork

Drake is breaking his silence over the blackface photo Pusha T circulated in their online feud. Social media went crazy when Pusha dropped the track, “The Story of Adidon,” and spilled more bad blood which has been going on between the two over the past decade. Pusha T’s track accuses Drake of fathering an illegitimate child, but it was his choice of cover art which caused the most controversy. The veteran hip-hop artist posted a lost image of Drake posing in blackface.  Drake has finally spoken out about the photo, which he says was snapped in 2007, saying “The photos represented how African Americans were once wrongfully portrayed in entertainment,” he explained in an Instagram Story. When the photo was taken, Drake was pursuing a career in acting and was “working on a project that was about young black actors struggling to get roles, being stereotypes and type cast.”
