Ja Rule and Ashanti have been working together for over a decade, but they’ve never collaborated on a full-length project. But during an interview at the BET Awards, Ashanti confirmed rumors that they have a joint album in the works. The two artists first linked up back in 2001 for “Always On Time,” the lead single off Ja’s third album Pain is Love. They also collaborated on hits like “Mesmerize,” “Wonderful,” and “Down 4 U.” Most recently, they worked together on “Helpless” off The Hamilton Mixtape.
