Cardi B announced on Wednesday she is seeking a divorce from her husband Offset after just over a year of marriage, saying “I guess we just grew out of love.” Cardi B, 26, and Offset, 26, a member of Migos, married secretly in September 2017 and had a child in July.
In an Instagram video, Cardi said although she and Offset were good friends and business partners, but “things just haven’t been working out between us for a long time.” She added: “It’s nobody fault. I guess we just grew out of love but we are not together anymore. I don’t know. It might take time to get a divorce and I’m going to always have a lot of love for him because he is my daughter’s father.”
Offset responded to her Instagram post with the comment, “Y’all won.”
