Exactly a year after XXXTentacion’s untimely passing on June 18, 2018) his estate has announced plans to release a new album as well as a documentary, both of which are coming out in the next couple of months.
In the trailer for the documentary, we hear XXX himself narrating as he spends time with friends, family & fans and records music. He says in the video: “there’s definitely a difference between Jahseh Onfroy and XXXTentacion. This is the story, this is the full story, this is the last time I’ma tell it.”
The new album will serve as the follow up to his first posthumous Skins which debuted at the number 1 spot of Billboard 200. Earlier this month, his first No. 1 single, ‘SAD!’ hit the 1 billion streams mark on Spotify. You can see the documentary trailer in the link below.
