Jacquees has delayed the release of his sophomore album, 'Round 2'

Prince Williams/FilmmagicJacquees has apparently scrapped the release date for his sophomore album Round 2.

As previously reported, the LP was scheduled to arrive on Frida,y but has since been delayed. While the self-proclaimed King of R&B has yet to share details on a new tentative date, he did offer up an apology to his fans.

“I wanna apologize to all my fans about Round 2 not dropping today,” the singer tweeted over the weekend. “Round 2 still on the way.”

Jacquees’ unexpected album delay has since spawned the hashtag #SorryForThePushBack.

Serving as a follow-up to his debut album, Round 2 dials in at 15 tracks and is set to include the Lil Baby-assisted ballad, “Wow” and the song “Who’s.” Summer Walker, Young Thug and Ty Dolla $ign have also been tapped for guest appearances.

The album’s delay arrives on the heels of Jacquees striking gold with his 4275 deep cut “You.”
