ABCIt was a long time coming, but Wendy Williams and her former protégé Charlamagne tha God have officially squashed their decades-old feud.
In an now-deleted Instagram post, captured by Rhymes with Snitch, Williams shared a selfie showing Charlamagne and herself cozied up. “He learned from the best,” she wrote of her former mentee. “Loyalty is everything! My guy is doing his thing!”
As previously reported, the former friends had not communicated with each other since 2010 after a reported falling out which Charlamagne blamed on Williams’ now-estranged husband Kevin Hunter.
“The reason Kevin Hunter and I fell out, and the reason why I don’t communicate with Wendy anymore is because of Sharina,” Charlamagne told Page Six in March, referring to Hunter’s mistress Sharina Hudson. “Kevin got upset because he thought Sharina liked one of my homeboys and he thought that I was hooking Sharina up [with other men].”
However, after Williams filed for divorce from Hunter in April, Charlamagne reached out to Wendy and two began the process of reconciliation with a dinner in NYC.
