LL Cool J debuts Rock the Bells collection

ABC/Randy HolmesLL Cool J is expanding his fashion brand with the launch of his Rock the Bells Drop 1 collection on Tuesday.

Named after his 1985 single from his debut album, Radio, the line comes 14 years after LL made his fashion debut in 2006 with an urban apparel collection in partnership with Sears.

LL’s line of T-shirts, hoodies and jackets is inspired by the four elements of hip-hop culture: rapping, deejaying, graffiti, and break dancing.

“Hip-hop is about your inner spirit, attitude, POV, and the way you approach life,” LL writes on his website. “This collection honors the people who changed the world using the mic, turntable, spay can, and dance floor.”

LL, who’s starred in the CBS series NCIS: Los Angeles since 2009, revealed several of his fashion items in an Instagram video.

“With more energy than the third rail, this is a MOVEMENT,” he continues. “So we stay aware, and keep it movin’. And whatever you do in your life, Rock The Bells!!”

The 52-year-old entertainer also revealed the items he loves the most in his collection.

“The Medallion Hoodie is one of my favorite, and most Limited, pieces from the Collection. The RTB Certified chain is handcrafted on premium fabric and wraps all the way around with a clasp like an actual rope chain,” LL says. “Everybody with the OG mindset needs a chain baby!!”

All the items in the Rock the Bells Drop 1 collection are now on sale on the Rock the Bells website.
