Lil Nas X took to social media to announce the release date for his upcoming debut album, titled ‘Montero.’
The 22-year-old tweeted: “Creating this album has been therapy for me. I’ve learned to let go of trying to control people’s perception of who i am, what i can do, and where i will be. i’ve realized the only opinion of me that really matters is my own. MY DEBUT ALBUM ‘MONTERO’ IS YOURS SEPTEMBER 17th”
Along with the album release date, Lil Nas X released a video teasing his new music, which comes several weeks after he and Jack Harlow “escaped from prison” in their “Industry Baby” music video.
